Every Velum Mystica order ships free, worldwide — no minimum purchase, no exceptions. Shipping is included in the price you see at checkout.

Delivery Estimate

Orders are typically dispatched within 1–3 business days of payment confirmation. Estimated delivery after dispatch:

• United States — 5–8 business days
• Canada, UK, Australia — 7–10 business days
• Europe (Spain, France, Germany, Netherlands, Italy) — 7–12 business days
• Mexico and other countries — 8–14 business days

Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. Delays may occur due to carrier capacity, customs clearance, or other factors outside our control.

Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive an email with your carrier and tracking number. You can also ask Aria (our chat assistant) for your tracking information by providing your email address or order reference number.

Shipping Destinations

We currently ship to: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Mexico, Spain, France, Germany, Netherlands, and Italy. If your country is not listed, please contact us before placing an order.

Customs and Import Duties

International orders may be subject to customs duties, taxes, or import fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in the order total. We are not able to predict or control these fees.

Incorrect Address

Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We are not responsible for packages lost or delayed due to an incorrect address. If a package is returned to us due to an undeliverable address, we will contact you to arrange reshipment — additional shipping charges may apply.

Our Policy

Due to the personal and intimate nature of fragrance, all sales are final. We are unable to accept returns or exchanges for reasons of preference, fragrance perception, or change of mind.

We stand behind the quality of every bottle we ship. If something goes wrong on our end, we will make it right.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged or with a defect, please contact us at hello@velummystica.com within 7 days of delivery with:

• Your order reference number (found in your confirmation email)
• A description of the damage or defect
• Photos clearly showing the issue

We will send a replacement at no cost to you. No need to return the damaged item.

Wrong Item Received

If you received a different product than what you ordered, contact us within 7 days of delivery at hello@velummystica.com. We will ship the correct item immediately and cover all associated costs.

Lost Packages

If your tracking shows your package as delivered but you have not received it, please first check with neighbors or your building's reception area. If the package is still missing, contact us within 14 days of the estimated delivery date and we will investigate with the carrier and work toward a resolution.

Refunds

Refunds are issued only in cases where a replacement cannot be sent (e.g., item out of stock). Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We work with the following trusted third-party providers to operate our service:

• Stripe — payment processing. Your card details are entered on Stripe's hosted page and are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) — website hosting, file storage (S3), and serverless compute (Lambda) in the United States.
• EmailJS / Amazon SES — transactional email delivery (order confirmations, contact form responses).
• Anthropic — powers our AI chat assistant (Aria). Messages sent to Aria may be processed by Anthropic's API. We do not use this data for model training.

5. Cookies

We use a single browser storage mechanism (localStorage) to maintain your shopping cart across page visits. No tracking cookies or third-party cookies are set. Your cart data lives only in your own browser and is cleared when you check out or manually clear your browser storage.

Order records (name, email, shipping address, items purchased) are retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the order, handle any inquiries, and comply with applicable tax and legal obligations — typically up to 7 years.
